Special Member Benefits

NTEU also offers many extra benefits that take advantage of low group rates, such as dental, life, and other forms of insurance, and discounts on consumer goods, moving expenses, vacations,  and much more!  Please also make note of our relationships with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Mutual of Omaha and our newest partnership with LAWPHONE® for the Prepaid Legal Plans.

NTEU offers a range of insurance programs to protect members and their families. Given the rising costs of medical treatment, one trip to the hospital could wipe out a family's entire savings. Members can choose from the following programs:

Involvement in NTEU will benefit you and IRS.  The work we do representing the bargaining unit workforce is important, and it provides unique opportunities for you to be heard, for your ideas to be considered, and for you to apply skills and abilities beyond the limitations of your normal position.  NTEU rep's enjoy enhanced visibility and gain experience which may help them in their careers. So please consider volunteering--to serve on a committee, to work on a project/activity, or to become a steward.
