The safety and security of our employees and taxpayers visiting our offices is a top priority. Our West Fourth Street facility in Covington experienced some flooding on Thursday. Heavy rains caused water to backup through some storm drains and also caused some roof leakage. Only limited areas were affected, and the majority of the work space was untouched and fully functional.
Extreme volumes of rain water and the backups experienced involved storm drains – not the building’s sewage lines. We kept our employees informed as we cleaned up the flooded areas early yesterday afternoon.
Once everything is dry, OSHA will be conducting air quality and mold tests to ensure the area is safe.
